Durham Lane Industrial Park
Durham Lane Industrial Estate is a key development project in Stockton-on-Tees, set to boost the region's industrial capacity. The land close to Eaglescliffe Station was purchased by the Council in 2021 with money from the Tees Valley Combined Authority's Indigenous Growth Fund (IGF).
Spanning 54 acres, the site has been earmarked for a variety of industrial and business uses, attracting significant investment and creating job opportunities. With a preferred developer named, the project is moving forward, promising to enhance local infrastructure and drive economic growth.

Belasis Business Park
Belasis Business Park is a versatile and attractive site for companies looking to expand or establish a presence in the Tees Valley. The Park offers significant opportunities for businesses of all sizes, with 49 acres of development land available for employment use. Ideal for offices, laboratories, research and development, or technology spaces, the park provides a fully serviced and landscaped environment. Development land is available in various plot sizes, from smaller individual plots to larger ones exceeding 8 acres, accommodating a wide range of business needs.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council owns plots with opportunities for both leasehold and freehold arrangements, including design and build options.

Tees Valley Care and Health Innovation Zone
The Tees Valley Care and Health Innovation Zone is a transformative project aimed at reshaping health and social care services in the region. With the appointment of a master planner, this ambitious initiative will create a dedicated zone that integrates healthcare, community support, and innovative care solutions.
The project focuses on enhancing local health services, improving accessibility, and fostering collaboration between public and private sectors. By streamlining services and creating a state-of-the-art environment, the care and health zone will play a vital role in meeting the future needs of the community while supporting economic growth and wellbeing of those in the region.

Lighthouse Green Fuels
Lighthouse Green Fuels, located in Billingham, is the UK's largest and most advanced second-generation sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) project.
It will process over one million tonnes of feedstock annually, including waste wood and forest residues, to produce 135,000 tonnes of SAF. The facility will also utilise local carbon capture infrastructure to achieve up to 200% lifecycle emissions savings compared to fossil jet fuel.
Lighthouse Green Fuels will play a key role in decarbonising the UK's aviation sector, strengthening its leadership in SAF production, and boosting regional economic growth by creating over 2,000 construction jobs and 240 permanent roles. The project is being developed by Alfanar Group, a globally recognised company headquartered in Saudi Arabia.
